Highlights of the 2013 Minneapolis Motorcycle Show

Things kicked off in Minneapolis with the surprise appearance of Moto Guzzi. We were also treated to having several Aprilias on hand and some Urals. There was a lot of activity at the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi booth.

Victory brought a full lineup of 2013 models to the Minneapolis Motorcycle Show. Victory Motorcycles is also including a sweepstakes as part of their round on the tour, where a lucky someone can win a new Victory Motorcycle of their choice.

Things were busy at the MotoGP Experience, a great collection of motorcycles from racing's premier class. There were a lot of people getting their picture taken with our wonderful Umbrella Girl and entering to win a VIP trip for two to the Indianapolis MotoGP. A great big thank you to our friends at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for sponsoring such an awesome prize package!

Another popular display was at the Indian Motorcycles booth, featuring a 1935 Indian Chief that had appeared on an episode of American Pickers. Indian Motorcycles spokesmodel Meisha Johnson was nice enough to pose with the bike. Throughout the weekend, the Big Base Indian Scout behind (#99 bike) was fired up so everyone could get in on the excitement surrounding the booth.

We were lucky enough to have Red Bull Athlete Aaron Colton perform at XDL Street Jam with XDL Rider Aaron Twite and XDL Rookie of the Year Kyle Sliger. All three riders performed some amazing stunts throughout the weekend, coming in as early as 5AM to appear on the morning news. We had a great crowd for the show in Minneapolis and are excited for next weekend in New York City!

Grassroots organization ZeroGravity Empire had a strong showing at the show and added some spice to an already exciting event. Pictured here is a turbo Hayabusa that was on display at the Minneapolis show and attracted a large crowd.

The J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Competition was heated with some great entries across all classes. Minnesota definitely showed that custom building is a big part of the motorcycle scene here and didn't disappoint. Make sure to keep your eye on the results from the Minneapolis Edition of the Ultimate Builder Competition coming up shortly!
