Kane "Insane" Friesen, originally from Edmonton, Alberta Canada, started riding motorcycles when he was 18. After he graduated high school, he sold his Ford Mustang for a '98 Kawasaki Zx6R. After doing some wheelies and driving it around the block backwards a few times, he realized that he wanted more than to just have a good time riding and doing tricks in parking lots and on the streets. He quit his day job early in the summer of 2004 and started chasing his dream of riding bikes for a living. Since then, it's been a rapid climb to the top of the sport and in the process, has become one of the sport's biggest ambassadors, breaking down barriers for and helping to legitimize the whole sport/industry. He is the only Kawasaki factory sponsored & supported street bike rider in North America and one of the only street bike freestyle factory sponsored riders by any motorcycle company throughout the world. Among many other national competition wins and podiums, he is the 2006 Regional XDL Stunt Riding Champion. He was also the featured rider on Discovery Channel's hit show Stunt Junkies, for the Guinness Book World Record stoppie (also called endo or nose wheelie), clocked at 137 mph.
